So the advertiser did say something to Dan and so the original banner is dead. I've submitted a new one...
but they have not approved it yet and probably won't. All I wanted was to have a funny banner on Steve's Site. Yesterday my banner was talked about 2 times and both times I was the guy with the banner. (oh well so much for fame :( ...) . I finished the phone call , you need a Real player to listen. This is property of The Steve Dahl Show, WGKG 105.9 (weekdays 2-7pm)and CBS. (c) 2002.

The Steve Dahl Show producer has decided that my add was to racy. They removed the quote from one of the show members of me off of my banner!

here's the email I got from them:
Dude,
Just FYI. I edited the "pussy" comment off of your banner as Dan's afraid it will offend the ****'s people...
My first reply:

My second reply - a little more calm
With the amounts of hits I got yesterday , I'll probably be done today...
let me change it, can I do p***y?
My 3rd reply- I thought it about it a little more and got more pissed
There are pictures of a naked chick just below the ****'s ad and that's OK?

Yesterday I called into a "The Steve Dahl Show" . I have listen to him most of my life, so it was a great! I was kinda nervous but it was alot of fun. I put a banner on his site.

The house is ours.....
We are moving today , I'll be on dial up for a bit but will try and keep the cams on as much as possible.
Parker has his first cold, poor thing gets so congested when he sleeps that it wakes him up and the he doesn't want to go back to sleep. He sleeping now so I have to extra quiet taking the computer apart.

The last two days I've been glued to the television set along with everyone else in the country. I can't even imaging the terror / destruction the has taken place in New York. What a horrible, horrible tragedy. I do not feel easy about having to fly on the 24th.
That said....
DON'T INCLUDE ME ON ANY MASS EMAILS ABOUT THE TRAGEDY OF EARLIER THIS WEEK.
Better yet don't send them at all to anyone!

Below is an email I got from a co worker in DC.....
All,
As you may know, I am in Washington DC today, and the news of the attack on our country seems incredibly poignant and personal.
As this e-mail is a testament to the fact - At this moment, I am safe.
First, my thoughts and prayers are focused on the savage lost of innocent lives.
What a crime against this country!
Second, I am angry and outraged. I want to do something. I want to take swift action. Strike out. Attack who did this. But, there is little to do except compose this message. And in this inaction, I do not feel secure.
This has to be the emotion that our fathers and /or grandfathers felt when our Navy Base was attacked by Japan.

Sorry if the cams are not always current, my DSL keeps cutting on and off.
Going to an art show this afternoon, it being put on by a group of artist friends, so it should be cool. Then over to Jeff's to finish rewiring the entertainment center, through the walls and stuff.

Got back to chicago and met some friends at a bar for a drink tonight, It's nice to be able to do that kinda stuff again.
HEY DIANE --- u r mentioned , be glad that's all I'm saying.
We are inspecting the house first thing tomorrow, I'm so psyched to see the house not under construction.
Going to bed....I stink like smoke, I didn't miss that.

I'm digging Philadelphia, the vegetarian restaurant selection has been good.
The other night I ate at
Adobe Cafe
They have a separate vegetarian menu to eat from. The soup was so yummy I go some to go for lunch the next day.
Tonight I went to a veggie restaurant, that was so busy you needed reservations. I sat at the bar, it was a cool little place attached to a health foods store. The customers were not your typical veggie / hippy freaks. It was a busy restaurant with people who wanted good food, not just because it was veggie. I dug this place, it was filled with friendly staff and customers, it was a very good karma kinda place.

Why do so many veggie places have cafe in the name?
